AbstractThe bibliographical update for the year 2025 marks the tenth anniversary of the column in the «Bollettino di studi belliniani». From a quantitative standpoint, the publication trend has fluctuated, influenced by anniversaries, institutional events, and the health emergency of 2020-2021. Qualitatively, although the monograph retains its structural stability to guarantee methodological depth, the overall morphology of the data reveals a growing complexity and a fragmentation of formats. The perspective of a longitudinal inquiry thus provides an opportunity to examine the methods and processes of bibliographical research, the shifts in the communicative approaches of opera, the nature of contemporary operatic historiography, and the redefinition of the relationship with the audience. The inquiry reveals three main directions: interconnection, multidisciplinarity, and the qualitative metamorphosis of dissemination through new formats, a development that establishes remediation as a fundamental interpretive, as well as operational, paradigm.
