Abstract
The paper focuses on Bellini’s autograph manuscript «Rari 4.3.2(2)», preserved in Naples, Library of Conservatorio S. Pietro a Majella. The manuscript – classified as «Cori. Coro a 4 voci. Orchestra. Mi bemolle maggiore» – presents a composition that seems not to be concluded both in words and music, the former everywhere lacking. Nevertheless, an accurate analysis allows situating the piece among sacred works composed during Bellini’s training in Naples. Based on the philological and structural evidence, the study formulates a hypothesis of identification.
