Abstract
Graziella Seminara’s critical edition is the last published collection of Vincenzo Bellini’s letters. It transcribes 517 (sometimes hitherto unknown) documents, consisting of letters written or received by Bellini; these were verified with the original sources whenever possible, as well as provided with critical notes. The edition also offers an extended introduction, where Seminara both depicts Bellini’s human and artistic personality, and analyses his writing from a linguistic and stylistic perspective.
